Dub Store Records Corp. Recruitment
Bringing the world closer together through music
About
Dub Store Records has been a long-established player in the global record industry since 1991, and is widely recognized from Europe and the United States to Africa.
It began as a specialty shop for Jamaican music, including the internationally acclaimed 'Dub Store Records' label, but today it has grown into one of the world’s largest online shops for records and CDs, covering all genres from Japanese to international music.
As a world-class international distributor, we sell to more than 100 countries through a wide variety of sales channels including overseas and domestic customers, as well as retail and buyback stores.

Since our founding in 1993 with just a handful of people, we’ve grown into a company supported by staff of all ages, steeped in history and culture.

General staff usually leave on time unless there are special instructions or conditions.
We strive to balance workloads and detect issues early so overtime does not become excessive.
Our numbers have been growing in recent years, and the scale of our inventory has expanded from one of Japan’s largest to one of the world’s largest.
We are looking for strong new team members to help us take the next leap forward.

Message from the CEO
I’ve always loved music and records, and before I knew it I had become the owner of this company. Counting my training days in London back in 1991, I’ve been doing this for over 30 years. I’m fortunate to have friends and acquaintances all over the world from that time.
I never studied management formally — I’ve grown this business as my life’s work, and I’ve grown alongside it. Even now, work and records are still my biggest passions. I’m grateful that through doing what I love, I’ve been able to grow as a person, including how I think about being Japanese and living in the world.
These days I’m surrounded by talented staff and specialists who complement my weak points and exceed me in many areas, so I can focus on what I do best. I want more colleagues like that — on my own, I can’t do much.
The music world is full of good people, and there’s a sense of connection through shared passion. Sometimes I wonder what kind of music new staff members will like. I think today’s younger generation is humble but full of hidden individuality, and I want to be the kind of company leader who helps bring that out.
With the three pillars of music culture, global scale, and the internet world, let’s pioneer new frontiers together and grow into one of the world’s top companies. My goal is to be a company owner who travels between our global bases while overseeing this business.
