DUB STORE RECORDS CORPORATION has been operating since 1993 as an international distributor of music software. With a total inventory exceeding 1.2 million items, it is one of Japan's largest music software distributors, selling to over 100 countries worldwide.
Through the internet and music, we aim to connect with the world, blend global cultures, and create a new Japan that is richer, kinder, and filled with hope.
Representative Director
家永 直樹・Naoki Ienaga
Studied the record business in London in 1991.
Started a mail-order record business in 1993.
Launched the current Tokyo Shinjuku Dub Store Record Mart in 1997.
After working in wholesale distribution to record shops and as an agent for overseas labels, launched the online shop "Reggae Records".
Released 600 titles, including unreleased material, through the global reissue label "Dub Store Records".
Launched the "Record City" business in 2018 and continues to operate it today.
Key Milestones
Started selling records by mail order service at Fukuoka.
Moved to Tokyo and opened the "Dub Store Record Mart" store.
Registered Dub Store Sound Inc. as a corporation.
